Greetings y’all!

The New Ferrari F8 TRIBUTO driving in London for the first time but here is the full back story to the F8 video above.

It all started about 2 weeks ago in Geneva at the unveiling of the all new Ferrari F8 Tributo, my first ever Geneva auto show. On seeing 2 F8s unveiled in red and blue I remember being amazed at how beautiful the two cars were in person compared to plain vanilla images. I particularly loved the design details on the rear, especially the quad light cluster and the beautiful louvered perspex engine cover clearly inspired by the iconic Ferrari F40.

Barely two weeks later I received a message inviting Rawkus Tv to the unveiling of the first of two Ferrari F8 Tributo in London and the UK, seeing the car in pictures and on stage is one thing but seeing one on the road actually moving is a whole different experience so I went along.

I arrived early, maybe a little bit too but like they say better early than late right? On arrival a beautiful sounding Ferrari 812 Superfast was just leaving the Ferrari showroom, I assume to make room for the soon to arrive F8.

An hour later a delivery truck pulls up just outside Ferrari London myself and other invited influencers were eager to finally see an F8 on London roads. A few minutes later the trailer door tentatively and teasingly started to open revealing the first ever F8 Tributo in London and the UK.

I decided to make make a video which should hopefully have all the bits you really want to know such as startup and engine sounds, the look of the F8 Tributo interior as well as a look around the exterior design.

Here are are some more facts about the F8 Tributo

The new F8 Tributo is the replacement of the Ferrari 488 GTB powered by the same twin-turbo 3.9 Litre V8 engine found in the 488 GTB but with 50 HP increase on power.

Total power output is 720 horsepower or an impressive 185 Horsepower per litre making it the most powerful V8 engine ever.

The F8 Tributo is also 40 KG lighter than the 488 GTB it replaces, there is also a 10% improvement in aerodynamic efficiency.

The all-new exterior design of the Tributo has hints of past Ferrari supercars like the louvred F40 style perspex engine cover. The scoop on the bonnet is reminiscent of the recent 488 Pista. The front LED lights are now much thinner than before. There is a double;e cluster of rear lights now.

Let me know what you thought of the new F8 and feel free to share the video with as many people as possible.

See you on the next post!
